❤ My friend showed me this and I am really enjoying it. The yeshiva that is on 10th and ave A is actually the school my mom went to when she was young. De ja vu moment Haha! I think anyone who enjoys comedy and wants to follow a story that is sophisticated, enjoyable, and has constant character development, this show is for you. There is also a lot of room for creative interpretation of the story's plot, and to expect tremendous character growth with complex and harsh circumstances provided. Of course the setting of New York draws out the characters personality perfect due to the fast paced, artistic, diverse and chaotically exciting lifestyle of a New Yorker.

❤ I have such a fantastic feeling after watching the last episode, so emotional and overwhelming! I really invested in these characters, they're flawed, but have beautiful hearts... I watched one episode but knew I was hooked after just 3 minutes! Wow, I loved the ending, superb. I love how tv has become like some of the best novels you could ever read, such quality and I'm sure this series will stay with me for a long, long time. 5 stars .
P.s. I must have been watching a different show to other people - how can there be a 2nd series? I've definitely taken it that the story is over (No spoilers!) for these characters anyway...
P.p.s why do people keep saying it was 'comedic' or 'laugh out loud'?

❤ I binged it in one night it was so good. I ended up staying up way to late cause i worked the next morning. It's touched so many different emotions. It's dark, humorous, sad, and at times also very happy! I wish there were more shows like this! It's only one season long but that is Ll you need from this show to truly appreciate the work of art it is! It executed and accomplished what Happy Death day could only try to do.

❤ Just started watching it and so so loving it. The evils of technology apart, this is a nice sneak peek into what the future could possibly hold in store for us around 2030-2035 !! Will be wonderful if some episodes also dwell on the positives of a technology driven world (probably there are which I am yet to see). But excellent series overall and must appreciate Netflix for thinking in this direction. Must watch for all who care for technology and its effects.

❤ APPLAUSE. HATS OFF. No mere words can describe that slow creepy feeling, the cringing and the horror, and of course the present-day relevance that you experience while watching this show. Majority of the episodes end with you just staring at the credits and wondering what has hit you and from where. Absolutely brilliant in the way it depicts the gradual spiral downwards of contemporary society and the technological and social media dystopia, we are heading towards. A must for all you generation X'ers and millennial's out there.. 5 brilliant stars.!!!!

❤ This show is excellent! I’m always very picky when it comes to Netflix series. This one I enjoyed. It really brings out the good and bad consequences of our growing technology. Every episode is different, so you don’t have to follow it. Not only is every episode different, but every single episode has a different cast. Very cool and very well done!

❤ Outstanding. Even though l have seen all 4 Seasons (eagerly awaiting 5&6) and bought them, l’m presently working my way through them for the second time. Despite knowing how things turn out, there are still elements of each story you missed the first time round. Watching again just enhances the experience as filling in the gaps completes the jigsaw. The whole series is highly recommended. Adrian Dunbar is superb. Enjoy a class of the best the BBC have to offer.

❤ The best ride in your life, thrilling. The writers of the show are absolutely amazing, so intelligent it makes the viewer really think and second guess yourself as you try to subconsciously solve the plot. The best thing is you never can, as the writers have the plot twists way ahead of you. This show is so addictive you cannot stop watching, so be warned! So well acted, well shot, I cannot praise this series enough. Please don’t stop making this series, 10 stars.

❤ I'm always looking for someone who hasn't seen this show yet so I can watch it over again through fresh eyes.
Clever, edge-of-your-seat writing, compelling performances, perfect casting.
Concise seasons that wrap up nicely on their own yet build into the following ones.
So far my favorite British Police Drama/Thriller.

Review - (Source: Google Search)

❤ Him and Her is a fantastic comedy. The writing is very well thought out because it is so simple like The Royle Family and thats why it is extremely popular. Laura is twisted character of I'm sure everyone knows of in real life. her nasty and sly comments to everyone and how self obsessed makes her one of the best characters in the programme. Russel and Sarah are perfect for the main role, playing a convincing couple which are adorable. This programmes focuses on characters rather than one liners, you have to know the characters to understand this and enjoy it. It seems very realistic and the characters are makes you laugh because you know its ridiculous but it is very real.

❤ One of the funniest and natural comedy series about i think personally, if you can't take a joke with what happens in it simply don't watch it but for those who can you will find that you will have a real giggle.

It basically is how some people live and what funny mistakes they make along living in there own flat.

The reactions to some of the scenarios that happen are also hilarious.

Not for those who rule there life around manners etc and take things too seriously.

Absolutely brilliant!

Hope to see more of it!

❤Let's make it short: Concept, writing, acting, filming, editing, performing and just every single detail in this show are perfect. Even the theme song is. It is a sitcom and if you like stuff like How I Met Your Mother, That 70s Show, Big Bang Theory, The IT-Crowd, My Girl, 2 Broke Girls, etc. then you will adore this show. I stumbled on it in the net and could not believe how bloody awesome it is compared to those. In my opinion it much superior to practically all other sitcoms out there, also it is very compact and its story-line had not been extended for ages like it had happened with mainstream shows like BBT or HIMYM. In the way, the concept of the writing was realized it reminds me of quality shows like Sherlock. It is bloody f******g brilliant, seriously 100%, if you are into sitcom comedy and humor, go watch it instantly! PS: If anyone knows other shows like this, please let me know!

Story –

A dangerous Tommy Shelby leads Peaky Blinders, a criminal gang based in Birmingham in 1919. Chief Inspector Chester Campbell decides to nab him and put an end to the activities of this gang.

Review - (Source: Google Search)

❤ VERY ADDICTIVE!!! Peaky Blinders is the drama series which tells the story of the notorious gangster family named Peaky Blinders(the Shelby family) in Birmingham around 1920(After the WWI ended). Tommy Shelby who is the leader of this gang is a young, handsome and very ambitious man who fights the world for his family and to complete his ambitions despite his own struggles. As he is the man who always gets what he wants by whichever means necessary he
develops lots of enemies and attract a lot of attention of political people and big players in the game who gives him hard time expanding his family business.

Talking about the casting for the series, BBC has done a very great job. Big stars like Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Paul Anderson, Helen McCrory, and all the actors have done fantastic jobs according to their characters.

When we talk about the cinematography it's very bold, lavish and visually pleasing. It is very challenging to film a movie or a series having storyline going back almost a hundred years ago. But I think the directors have literally done mind-blowing job to make everything look exactly like an Post-Worldwar era. The costumes, the locations, infrastructures and whole environment in the series looks fabulous and very natural.

The most parts of the series are shoot in Manchester, Liverpool and of course Birmingham itself.

Overall this is an MUST WATCH series according to me. Even if you're not into Crime/Drama genre, still this series won't fail to entertain you

❤ Beyond obsessed with this show. I feel that Peaky Blinders is underrated and not known, appreciated and watched enough. Definitely one of the best shows in recent times, and deserves much more recognition. Tommy Shelby is such a beautifully defined complex character that you would always end up routing for, irrespective of questionable morality behind some of his decisions and actions. Cillian Murphy is giving performance of his lifetime and he deserves more recognition for his insane talent (and that face!). This show also comprises of some of the best written characters with incredible acting by the supporting cast. Watch this show!

❤Stunningly good cinematography, a plot that is crafty, top notch acting......  this has it all. And its well researched - very important. (I hate it when you have a roman gladiator spouting lines like "Whats your problem" - that does it for me!). But Peaky Blinders production team have earned my respect for the small accurate details put into almost every scene.
Now this is the standard that all serious TV and movie production will have to live up to if they want to be taken seriously.

Review - (Source: Google Search)

❤ This is one of the best gangster series in television history. Excellent direction, writing, cinematography, setting and acting. The entire cast including the special appearances deliver outstanding performances. In particular Murphy, Anderson, Hardy, Rundle, McCrory and Cole shine. The plot is flawless as it follows the Shelby family in the early 1900's starting off as the ruling gangster family in Britain and then realizing that legitimizing the business is more profitable and the key to the family's survival. This task is headed by Thomas Shelby played by Murphy. He creates one of the most memorable characters in this genre to date. His subtleties in everything he sets out to do are brilliantly displayed. He is one of the most cunning, clever, ruthless and intelligent gangsters ever portrayed. This show is absolutely mesmerizing, captivating and memorable. It is masterfully done and a true work of art in every aspect.

❤ Everything about this show is thrilling. Every little detail and every character in this show is absolutely incredible. I love the era it is focused around as well, it makes for the perfect gangster show with class! Cillian Murphy is brilliant in every way! This is by far the best show and my favorite. Every single episode has you obsessed and wanting more. No matter how many times I’ve rewatched this on Netflix, I always find something new that I didn’t realize before. Very best show! I’m so excited for more seasons to come!

❤It's a really gripping show with interesting story lines and we'll developed characters. Well written, acted, and produced. The visuals of post WWI Birmingham look spectacular and they do a great job with the music used for the show. Cillian Murphy leads this show elegantly and brings so much suave to Thomas Shelby. The supporting cast is very good as well and know how to enhance their storylines. A very underrated show, Peaky Blinders.

Against his will, he finds himself back in the game going head-to-head with an army of younger, faster, ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to have him silenced.

Review - (Source: Google Search)

1. This abhorrent actioner (an adaptation of Victor Santos' graphic novel "Polar: Came From the Cold") about a morally conflicted hitman with a price on his head is vulgar auteurism at its most depraved.

2. Polar' is bold with a terrific lot of violence, sex, and nudity.

3. Definitely worth watching. If you enjoy Tarantino or Frank Miller's work, this should be a solid entry for your entertainment.

2. Close

Review - (Source: Google Search)

1. A really decent movie. I was pleasantly surprised - It was like the "Bourne Identity" meets "The Bodyguard" (Netflix version). The action was fantastic, and Noomi Rapace is wonderful. The only negative was that the emotional storyline was cheesy.

2. I liked this movie, however, I can understand the negative reviews.  The movie centers around 3 strong female characters with some twist and turns that are predictable and surprising.  The Moroccan landscape is beautiful while adding to the suspense.

3. The Last Laugh

Cast – Richard Dreyfuss, Chevy Chase, Andie MacDowell, Lewis Black, Kate Micucci, Chris Parnell

Review - (Source: Google Search)

1. Chevy Chase mostly engages in his trademark mugging, while his earnest moments are smothered by the clumsiness of the filmmaking.

2. This movie, like the Netflix series The Kominsky Method, comically looks at the anguish of aging baby boomers as they lose loved ones and negotiate their increasing marginalization.

3. This is an absolute belly laugh movie. Love, love, loved it! There seems to be an uprise of older comics making movies - well since that Komensky series. This movie is refreshing as well and really appreciated the writing.

Review - (Source: Google Search)

 1. Black Mirror Bandersnatch is a very interesting concept. It gives you choices that start out simple like choosing a cereal box for breakfast and steadily moves towards darker decisions. You find yourself choosing who lives and dies and what to destroy and what to save. If we take a look at today's society, most people have become desensitized to so many different things. You are either numb to the world or sheltered from it. And this is the real point I think Bandersnatch is getting at. I found myself choosing bad decisions because I wanted to see how it would turn out. And I'm sure many other people did the same.

 2. most of the Black Mirror episodes have a hidden meaning, a life lesson if you will. For example, in the episode titled "The Entire History of You" we see a futuristic world in which you can replay and fast forward any memory with a device called a grain. In this world a married man in what could be called a happy relationship having delusions that his wife is cheating on him and the episode proceeds to have the viewer believing he is delusional too. In the end it turns out everything he suspected was true and ends with the man alone and cutting out the grain after replaying his life. The point here is that some secrets are better off not being known.

 3. Black Mirror Bandersnatch takes a jab at the topic of desensitization by showing how the viewer can make snap decisions without thinking about the consequences. You dont want to think about what you are doing to this person, you only want to see the outcome. Some might call it sick, but that is the point. The creator is showing the dark side of entertainment by using entertainment itself.

To make it, they'll have to cover their eyes from the evil that chases them -- and complete the trip blindfolded..

Review - (Source: Google Search)

 1.  The movie is gripping, crisp and concise. I watched this move in the comforts of my home on Netflix and I guess this made it more exciting and I sat completely engrossed in the movie. I think it is one of those movies that is best for the individual (or at home) viewing experience. It was an all-out Sandra Bullock movie and she doesn't miss a beat! Once you give in to the notion of this ominous unseen evilness along with assumptions of its powers and limitations the movie is pretty interesting.

2.  It swings back and forth between the 1st time the attack (calamity/ mass suicides.. or whatever you wanna call) happened and 5 years later where Malorie (Sandra Bullock) is living a survivor's secluded life with 2 kids and her Bf/ husband (not clear) Tom, played convincingly by Trevante Rhodes.

3. It's a good weekend watch and will not disappoint you if you enjoy psychological thrillers and Sandra Bullock performances!
🙄
4. I really don’t appreciate terror movies, but decided to be brave this time, face my unreasonable fears (it’s just a movie!) and watched it alone, but not before having my eyes partially closed (not blindfolded, of course) and during daylight. Did you get the picture? LOL, It’s indeed a gut scaring psychological film, full of interpretations, meanings, and guessing, and watched it holding my breath the entire time. But it was worth it. Very well done!

5. How I understood it? Aside from all the common sense explanation of our own current way of life, being aloof, distant, disconnected, losing compassion, solidarity, interaction, etc, and perhaps blaming the excess of technology addiction. One scene I thought was not really quite possible: a blindfolded woman and two kids are tossed out the boat in the convoluted river waters, and yet she got to find and save them? Hard to believe, but the film message seems to be hope. However, I perceived more than all that and, in a way, nothing about that.

The fact that the “alien creatures” were not ever seen but “felt”, the lack of mobility, the troubled, undesirable pregnancy, the adoption of a newborn of a dead stranger trapped like her, and mostly, the darkness of a blindfolded sort of living took me to a scaring in-depth place: pre and post pregnancy depression!!! I’ve been there! Mildly, for my good fortune. But the level of our inner insecurities, the uncontrollable fears, the incapacities that impair us, the excruciating anguish for an unforeseen future we experience during and after a child is born, is a devastating package. Depression is NOT a sad state of the soul. It’s a chemical cerebral imbalance, a DISEASE! This extraordinary film just painfully reminded me of all that dark situation though I can’t explain why that feeling surfaced. I may have just got “lost in translation”, hopefully. LOL Regardless, I loved the film!

8. Dumplin

IMDB Rating – 6.8/10

Director – Anne Fletcher

Produced by Michael Costigan Kristin Hahn, Trish Hofmann, Mohamed AlRafi, Jennifer Aniston

Writers – Kristin Hahn

Release Date – December 7, 2018

Language – English

Cast –  Danielle Macdonald, Jennifer Aniston, Odeya Rush

Story –

The plus-size, teenage daughter of a former beauty queen signs up for her mum's pageant as a protest that escalates when other contestants follow in her footsteps, revolutionising the pageant and their small Texas town.

Review - (Source: Google Search)

1. This movie was well written and even better acted with a cornucopia of cast. I really liked the cast and appreciated the new faces that I had not seen before. The use of Dolly Parton and her brilliant songs was a pleasent suprise. Hopefully the millennials watching this will learn of Dolly's unmatchable talent the "old time" style of storytelling through song. Jennifer Aniston was the perfect fit for her role. I think she actually was involved in script writing.  I think she is as beautiful as her “Friends” days.
As a former pageant girl myself, I appreciate the realness within certain scenes and the “inside jokes” of pageant competition. The pageant world is so unique with quirkiness and the movie hit the mark to keep me interested the entire production.  The movie cast also had a few talented drag queens with stunning costumes. I even had a moment where I paused the movie to appreciate the beautiful Dolly Parton costumes. So much sparkle.
I recommend watching “Dumpling” if you need a funny “chick flick” moment in your day. Just sit back and enjoy singing along to some of Dolly Parton’s best songs.

2. This could have easily been a stereotypical "mean girls/society vs. weirdos" movie, but it wasn't. I loved the book as well (I really recommend reading it!) but the movie fleshed out the mother/daughter relationship, gave us the most inspiring troop of fairy (drag queen) godmothers in all of history and made a beautiful movie about love, loss, and acceptance without being too cheesy or overdone. I loved it! Special props to Jennifer Aniston (for being generally incredible and making Rose Dickson .

3. I have mixed emotions about how I feel about the movie because I saw an interview with Jennifer Aniston and Dolly Parton about the movie and Jennifer Aniston went on and on talking about how the movie teaches young girls to just be who they are and be themselves blah blah blah but yet both Dolly Parton and Jennifer Aniston are very much made up with make up, wigs, expensive clothes etc... Oh by the way for those of you reading this who don’t know,

4. I’m somewhat surprised by the reviews others found most helpful. Have we lost the ability to just watch a movie, a piece of art that some really talented folks put a lot of heart and soul into, without dissecting it to the point that it’s beyond recognition?
Seems we live in a world where folks tend to criticize anything and everything for the mere sake of criticism. But this viewer’s review is positive. Some reviewers thought it was a poor representation of teaching young women about self a

5. I honestly had a hard time with a majority of this movie. In my opinion, the main character, Willowdean, had a horrible personality which made it hard for me to root for her. She often used her physical appearance as an excuse to take it out on others, although it can be understandable and some might not see it as a problem, it really did affect my overall perspective of this movie. In a way, I almost found Willowdean’s perspective to be a bit harmful to certain viewers, so please just be aware.

6. I enjoyed this movie more than almost anything I've seen this year.
I'm really blown away by the negative reviews.  I can only imagine that they simply have no way of empathizing with anyone.  Perhaps they are perfectly confident and never challenged.

 1. Love it as much as the first one, it’s a good movie for the whole family, I know my girls and I will watch it over and over.

 2. I loved both movies The Christmas Prince and The Christmas Prince The Royal Wedding. Would like a follow up to their lives as Royals.

 3. It's really a nice Christmas movie, the worst character in the movie was Sahil and few scenes of the movie like when amber was feeling uncomfortable in the dress were making me laugh, and I am just waiting to watch what happens next.

 1. All BS aside I thought it would be steeping towards being another all show and no tell feast for the eyes MoCap , but in truth , i found myself all be it unexpectedly , engaged and immersed in the storyline . I know im not a recognised critic and quite possibly this review will go mostly unnoticed but as a film lover I felt I shouldn't just go away from this without giving it a review which it most definitely deserves.     The tone  from the outset is much darker than other adaptations of kiplings work so this one is in my opinion not for younger children. But as far as adults are concerned this adaptation must be viewed first before you allow your children to watch it . That being said I thought the film had great depth, a very fluent and engaging plot and i actually thought this portrayal of the story was what kept my attention held. A must see for fans of the genre . Gripping and intense.

 2. Shouldn't be compared 1 to 1 with the Disney version. It's a good movie and the animation and CGI blended with live actors flowed well. Admittedly some of the anthropomorphized expressions like smiles or grins on the animal seemed strange, but it was handled well in making them expressive at least. One character added only to be killed off to make a certain scene more powerful made me feel iffy as it definitely counts as just added for shock value/emotional turmoil, which is a cheap form of emotional investment, but overall I enjoyed the film as its own standalone adaptation of Mowgli's story.

 3. I liked it until the part he saw the head of his brother on the wall. That brought me to tears. I like they told the story from the view of man respecting nature. Not saying take away hunting. Notice the animals hunt and respect their kill in the movie. I don't think animals in the wild have some sort of ritual waiting for the kill to finish dying, but they do hunt to survive. Humans don't need to hunt to survive. We hunt for the food yes, but the sport and the trophy and I understand conservation, but I often think we get out of control. The thrill overtakes us and we lose control like with that poor elephant and his tusk. Or the head of the brother wolf. I cannot stop thinking about that. It just killed me to see that sweet guy on the wall. Yes, it is a story but is it really? How many have hunted an elephant or wolf and then looked at that trophy head on the wall and thought to themselves I wonder what they were thinking when I walked up on them and they were taking their last breath as I, the hunter hovered over them? I believe animals have souls and they can feel. That is why wolves live in packs. Not just because their is power in numbers but they are family. Lions, same thing. Many animals live in family or extended family units and you have to say ok, they have a bond to one another. When you have a bond you have feelings. When you have feelings then you must have something beyond flesh and blood.
